Remembering Father Andy
Friends of FAID remember Father Andy, the founder and director for 42 years of FAID, who died 11 years ago, on this day, 24th May.
One of Father Andy’s favourite prayers:
Dear God, Give us the faith to do the impossible,
The wisdom to know right from wrong,
And the knowledge to know you are with us.
Nemer is fitting the reconditioned hearing aids from Durham
Nemer, the school Audiologist, is fitting some of the hearing aids that were kindly donated by the Sight and Sound Charity from Durham.
Playground revamped and lots more.
The Easter Workgroup, made up of CIE Bus Drivers, A lone Soldier, A Train Inspector, A CIE nurse, A Sound Engineer and our Geraldine and Anton did great work last Easter. The old playground has been completely revamped. 6 class rooms completely rewired. 14 computers upgraded, dvd drives and software installed. 12 sets of door handles replaced, toilet seats fitted, lots of painting done, a new toilet installed, new classroom doors purchased and lots, lots more.
