A group of six CIE Bus Drivers from Cork under the leadership of Martin McSweeney, along with Liam Foley, Anton, Geraldine and Abe Scheele, spent 10 days at the school. The boys dormitory was revamped, painted, all the lights were fixed and new beds were bought. A lot of work was done on the boys bathroom, leaking taps were fixed and a shower unit was put in. The boys had no privacy when taking a shower. One of the teachers actually cried when she seen the curtain. A simple thing to us can mean so much to them. Rooms were painted, presses made, leaks fixed, wiring made safe, stairs painted and lots more.
